Hey there!
My name is Sierra Scott, and I'm currently a Graphic Design major with a minor in Criminal Justice at Salem State University. Originally from Boston, I now reside on the South Shore of Massachusetts with my family. If you asked my parents, they'd say I've had a thing for art ever since I was a kid, which drove me to pursue a path that allowed me to explore it fully during my college years.
As both an artist and designer, my goal is to produce work that seamlessly blends functionality with originality. While my digital work prioritizes cohesiveness and organization, I find joy in experimenting with various combinations of shapes, lines, textures, and colors to craft designs that are both smart and innovative. Despite my proficiency in digital media, my specialties lie in figure drawing, portraits, and pattern making which is usually done with a mechanical pencil. Masterful, right?
What I find most compelling about art and design is that there is no definitive “right” way to create; there is no rule book. Art, whether digital or handmade, offers us the chance to forge a connection with our creations, allowing us to express our individuality and creativity freely. This freedom of expression is what makes art and design such an integral part of my life.
